Financial Manager

We are looking for a Financial Manager, someone responsible, reliable, organized, analytic, able to work in teams but also able to manage its own tasks and duties, with good communication skills. It’s very important to be dynamic, proactive, sharp, and flexible. Keep in mind this vacancy is for someone resilient, that it’s looking for a challenge, and has the ambition for continuous improvement. We are offering an opportunity to take responsibility for several processes and projects related to the financial department, meaning that you will – over time – be an important part of the management team, leading the company.

Main responsibilities:

• Procurement process – communication, ordering, and payment
• Bookkeeping – create and monitor journal entries, as well as maintain and operate accounting procedures
• Delivery of periodic reports, resulting from the bookkeeping system
• Liquidity and Budget management and control
• Payroll process – from contracts to salary payment and loonheffing submission
• Tax communication
• Internal periodic analyses of cost centers and possible cost optimization
• Intercompany recharges and reconciliation
• Availability to go to Arnhem (where the factory is located) on a weekly basis, to organize their financials

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• HBO/WO degree in Accounting (preferred) or related studies, as Business Administration
• Experience in Finance and Accounting of minimum one year
• Fluent in Dutch and English, in both speech and writing

Preferred Skills:

• Strong Excel knowledge
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong inclination towards organizational improvement
• Entrepreneurial attitude (self-starter, fast-paced, looking for answers, motivated to generate ideas and develop new skills etc.)
